Join us for “Telehealth for the Patient with Intellectual Disability”. Telehealth visits have become increasingly important and necessary during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The utility and value of these visits have demonstrated their great benefit as well as possible limitations. This is especially true for patients with intellectual disabilities (ID). During this webinar, you will hear from our panel of experts in fields including family medicine, emergency medicine, developmental medicine, neurology, psychiatry, and dentistry. We will discuss the hurdles and benefits of using telehealth from each specialty’s perspective as it relates to treating patients with ID. In addition, our experts will discuss specific areas of interest including technology, reimbursement, and ethical concerns as they relate to telehealth. After brief discussions from each expert, we will break into a panel discussion with Q and A in which the audience is invited to participate.
