  2. California’s Harshest Critic of Teleorthodontics Evan Low Involved in Fracas Regarding Legislative Transparency

    Four years ago, despite fierce opposition from Democratic politicians, California voters passed Proposition 54, a constitutional amendment requiring the Legislature to be more transparent. Now, California Assembly Members including Evan Low have put forward Assembly Constitutional Amendment 25 which uses the COVID-19 state of emergency to undercut legislative transparency.

  3. Teledentistry Advances in Ohio: Sub. H.B. No. 679

    After long negotiations with the Ohio Dental Association, HB 679 was amended and passed the Ohio House of Representatives. The bill had originally excluded dentistry and required an in-person visit before using telehealth. The Ohio Senate convenes in September 2020 and will take up this bill.
